The web design of course will depend on the type of service it offers. if the domain contains private data such as email addresses and usernames, security measures will have been implemented in the websites to ensure security. In addition to passwords and other security features, the data has to be secures with encryption to prevent the data being access by unauthorized persons.

Special websites such as blogs and forums come in a uniform layouts. Every case requires that users upload content on the website. The content; usually comments or replies, consist mainly of text. In social networking web sites however, the web page design has to accommodate the uploading of images and videos in addition to text. It is important that the web page design is ideal for users to easily upload content. If the web page design made uploading content a complicated matter for users, the popularity of the social networking site would go down. Thus, it is up to the web design and its effectiveness to choose how popular and easy to use the site will become.
