Generating Traffic and Viral Marketing with the Viral Inviter Recommend To A Friend

Saturday, July 18, 2009 by Website Development

Usually when we think of the things a generator creates, the first few would be that of heat, electricity, and light. And while this may be true, generators can also be discovered and other ways. In fact generators may not be solid at all, and are in the form of digital software. It sounds highly implausible isn’t it? But you would probably think of it as a fact especially if you have a refer a friend installed on your website like send to a friend.

One of the hottest add-ons that can be found on websites and blogs nowadays is what is called a send to a friend. As its name denotes, viral generators are computer programs that generate viral marketing by enabling users to send e-mail referrals to contacts on the Internet. Embedded onto a website, the generator allows visitors to suggest the site to their friends and family online. Users simply have to enter their name and e-mail address on an internet form provided by the program, enter the e-mail addresses of the contacts he or she wishes to send a recommendation to, and click send. The receivers will then receive an e-mail containing the sender’s details, his/her personal recommendation, links and other media relevant to the website.

The send to a friend is made to market websites the same way viral videos spread itself: from person to person. With the generator, not only is the website being advertised to people, it also stimulates them to promote it to others. For example, a person recommends the site to a friend using the generator, and if that friend checks on the site and likes it he or she in turn can recommend it to others. In the long run, this generates a self-sustaining viral web that advances awareness of the website to communities online. This in turn creates notice amongst people, increase public interest, and eventually improve web traffic in the website that is being marketed.

Another profit of using a tell a friend form like send to a friend is that it is a less expensive and user-friendly internet marketing technique. Like most viral marketing programs, viral generators are relatively small in file size and are accessibly downloaded from the web. Basic generator programs are also free of charge, although there are “pro” versions with extra features that are available upon purchase. In addition, generators are available in either HTML or PHP format, providing variety and compatibility for a range of web servers.

Because of their low cost of operation and effectiveness, the refer a friend has become a popular add-on for blogs, forums, and other websites. They are especially beneficial for affiliate marketing websites, who earn shares for every potential customer they refer using the generator.

Tell a friend script, Feelings and their Tell a friend software: Role in Word of Mouth Marketing

Friday, July 17, 2009 by Website Development

Emotions are an essential part in every person’s life. Ever since we were born, emotions have played a key role in influencing our decisions, our actions, and our day to day habit. Therefore, it is only essential that emotions also play a key role in marketing businesses and the services they provide. This is especially important for businesses whose activity is mostly done on the web, as there is only a small window of opportunity to catch the attention of a possible customer. In this article, we will discuss how emotions affect tell a friend software and other marketing strategies and how it can be hold for the benefit of the business using tell a friend script.

One of the tricks to ensuring a success of a tell a friend script campaign is for businesses to produce emotional reactions from people. For the business, this means conveying an idea or opinion and stressing it in order to get an emotional response from people. Any emotional response will do: you would want people to encounter joy, suspense, laughter, anger, or anything else in between. Laughter and joy is often the more generally used emotions in viral marketing and advertising as it supplies people a more positive outlook, although some marketing campaigns focus on fear and other emotions to try and itself out from the crowd. Whether you want to harness the sure and stable emotions of joy or set yourself apart from the rest of the pack by utilizing other emotions, it’s your call.

In line with this, it is also important for tell a friend software and advertising campaigns to prevent being neutral all of the time. Although trying to delight customers is a necessary trait that all businesses must have, it doesn’t exactly mean that it has to please everyone. Supporting several target public may help you in getting new acquaintances, but it does not get sales. By giving aid to just one or two target groups and being biased to those factions, the marketing campaign will trigger emotional reactions in people and catching their attention. However, it must be noted though that marketing campaigns must also know where to draw the line: anything that is morally and ethically bad taste in general should be avoided.

So how do tell a friend script campaigns use emotion to their benefit? Well, there are a lot of ways actually. A simple example would be injecting humorous slogans or commercials with the ads and invite mails that you send out. Headlining these subjects with eyebrow-raising sentences also helps (ex. a travel agency using invite mails with the subject “I know what you did last summer”). One can also make viral web pages in which to contain scary, funny, or other emotional content that is related to the business through tell a friend software.
